Benefit They’re Real! Double The Lip Lipstick & Liner in One

I was soooooo excited to try this brand spanking new lipstick and liner duo as I’m a HUGE fan of the they’re real mascara! I ordered it online from Sephora (as it’s not in stores yet) and received it this week. My first impression is that the liner portion isn’t quite doing it for me. I’m a true and true liner gal.. My go to Mac liner in spice is what I use daily regardless of my lipstick color. The benefit lipstick feels wonderfully moisturizing which I’m not particularly used to, having used matte lipstick for the last billion years. However I’m feeling this moisture especially with the winter dryness looming lately.

I can attest to the ease of application, but I would prefer a more defined lip line. It is definitely a semi-matte but seems to wear quite quickly. My final thoughts on this lippie is.. I love the IDEA of this lip combo, but the lasting power is not there. The color had diminished in less than two hours, that wont work for me! I will stick with my ride or die Revlon Colorstay and Mac liner 🙂 If you’re a gal who doesn’t mind re-applying every hour or so, then it may be worth a try for you.
