Face wash sound simple, I mean when you think about what it is, it’s simply soap to wash our faces, but it’s not that easy. There are so many face washes on the market that claim to do a million and one things for your face and honestly most don’t deliver. One of my tried and true favorites is Philosophy’s Purity Made Simple Facial Cleanser. I keep this in the shower as my evening face wash because it removes makeup like a breeze and leaves you feeling fresh without leaving behind residual makeup. You all know the feeling when you get out of the shower, rub your eyes and have a black ring. Eww.
My typical nighttime routine consists of first removing my makeup using a face oil, that really helps dissolve eyeliner and mascara, and then I use the Philosophy face wash to rinse it all away. The face wash is gentle, doesn’t have a heavy or perfume scented smell, and best of all doesn’t dry out your face. There is reason this is a 10-year Allure Reader’s Choice award winner! Keep an eye out around Christmas time, I always stock up when Sephora has their yearly special and sells the big 12 oz. one for $15 bucks!
