The Milk Blur Stick – Is it an Instagram Filter in a stick?

Girlfriends I was SOOOOO excited to try the Milk Makeup Blur Stick. I had read rave reviews and claims of the blurring stick acting as an IG filter for your skin.. Being a big fan of Milk Makeup I decided to give it a whirl.

The Blur Stick is a colorless, oil- and silicone-free primer that claims to blur the look of imperfections on all skin tones. The Blur Stick is intended to minimizes the appearance of pores and fine lines for an invisible, smooth and matte finish. It can be used under makeup as a primer for a smooth finish or alone.

My thoughts on the Milk Blur Stick
After applying to my skin I see little to no difference in the visibility of my pores and fine lines. When I applied foundation and setting powder over the blur stick, my foundation actually caked up and looked downright terrible instantly. Another big downer was that my foundation literally seemed to slip off my face within hours, which is very unusual with my longwear foundation. I have tried the Blur Stick several times over the last two weeks just to be sure, and yep – it isn’t for me!
